The Theosophical Movement.  A series of 34 articles giving the early history of the Theosophical Society including the various controversies and splits in the organization after Madame Blavatsky's death.  Text was written by John Garrigues and several other members of the United Lodge of Theosophists.  Portions of the text are highly controversial within certain groups of the Theosophical Movement.  Reprinted from Theosophy (Los Angeles), January 1920 through October 1922 issues.     These articles were updated and expanded into the 1925 book titled The Theosophical Movement, 1875-1925:  A History and a Survey, New York, E.P. Dutton.  This web edition is published by Wisdom World.
