In 1909, Robert Crosbie
(1849-1919) and a group of Theosophical students founded the United Lodge of Theosophists
in Los Angeles, California. In November 1912, Mr. Crosbie founded the magazine Theosophy,
which he continued to edit until his death.
Theosophy magazine started reprinting many of the valuable but out-of-print
articles written by H.P. Blavatsky and W.Q. Judge in the 1880s and 1890s in The
Theosophist, Lucifer and The Path. Starting in the second volume of
Theosophy, Mr. Crosbie wrote a valuable series of articles titled "Masters
and Their Message: Some Chapters from Theosophical History."
Kessinger Publishing has now reprinted the first four volumes of Theosophy.
Associates of the United Lodge of Theosophists as well as other Blavatsky students
